The Springfield Community Educational Alliance (SCEA) is the educational division of the Springfield Civic Association. The SCEA is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-deductible, non-profit organization (501(c)3). The purpose of the SCEA is to educate and teach Springfield residents and business community members about the benefits of civic participation.
Individuals
Individuals may contribute a tax-deductible donation to the SCEA. Contact the Treasurer at springfieldcivic@yahoo.com to receive a receipt for your donation. Your donation will help support current and future programs.
Businesses
If you are a business, we welcome your tax-deductible contribution that will support existing programs, renew past successful programs such as the home maintenance workshops, or help sponsor new programs that the community believes are needed.
Regardless of whether you work or have a business establishment within the geographic area of Central Springfield (I-95 west; north of Old Keene Mill Road (SR 644); south of 495 (Beltway); and east of the Accotink Creek stream valley), your contribution will help strengthen our programs and provide your business an alternate connection to Central Springfield residents.
Sponsorships are determined by event or activity, or by mutually agreed-upon financial support, volunteer, in-kind services, material, product donation or other. Complete the SCEA Business Application form to support the SCEA’s programs and initiatives as a sponsor.
