Join us for a lively program on “The Roaring Twenties”.  One of the most dramatic decades in United States history, the 1920s had it all: the struggle for women’s rights, political scandals, crimes of the century and economic upheaval.  A time of hip flasks, jazz, speakeasies and bobbed hair, the Twenties was the first truly modern decade and, for better or worse, created the model for society today.

Ben Gold is a popular lecturer for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), where he regularly teaches classes on a variety of subjects.  For the past eleven years he has been lecturing aboard cruise lines.
