At 6:30 pm in the Helen Wilson Community Room (Franconia Government Center, 6121 Franconia Road), Officer Jim Reid has arranged for various members of the Fairfax County Police Department to speak on topics relevant to all of us. At 7:30 the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) continues the interaction with our police officers with a report from the Captain and/or the Lieutenant of Franconia Station, updates on happenings in our area by the investigating detectives, and a question and answer period with the Franconia Station command staff. This is your opportunity to be involved!
The CAC has traditionally held a cookout for its meeting in June, before it recesses for the months of July and August. At this point in time, Officer Reid plans to continue the 6:30pm presentations throughout the summer months.
